Description: Provided renovations to existing classrooms as well as a Student Lounge, several informal student interaction areas, and closets to support the associated electrical, IT, and audio/visual system requirements. The design also included state of the art audio visual systems, new HVAC and plumbing systems, ductwork, air devices, and VAV boxes.
The nine-month design-build project consisted of demolishing approximately 5,500 square feet of classrooms, office and utility closets and constructing five classrooms with extensive audio visual packages, collaboration lounge and utility closets in an occupied environment with numerous VIP visitors and events during the entire project.
